Reporting for China Uncensored, a YouTube Channel, Chris Chapel tells us news about the recent mass arrests ongoing in Hong King since the Chinese government headed by the Chinese Communistic Party has been arresting a mass amount of people for protesting against its corrupt regime. People arrested included Jimmy Lai, owner of Apple Daily, and Agnes Chow, one of the Pro-Democracy movement leaders. This is a concerning issue of how government or a corrupt regime could find any reason, even if unjustly so, to commit crimes of arrest and behind-close-doors persecution against those who speak out against them.
