Report Reveals Western Companies Are Involved With China’s Genocide Of Organ Harvesting

The recent report alleges that international medical and pharmaceutical companies assisted China in their illegal organ transplant crimes. It named 20 global companies who helped murder people through state-sponsored campaigns of forced organ harvesting. “Economics of Organ Harvesting in China” concludes that Western companies such as Pfizer from America, OrganOx from the UK, and Roche from Switzerland, have been involved with China’s organ harvesting crimes. This supports the China Tribunal’s “Final Judgment,” released in June 2019, identifying the organ harvesting crimes as ‘Crimes Against Humanity’.

Emphasizing that China’s transplant system is ‘dependent on the import of devices for organ preservation’ and accuses West of the pharmaceutical products used on Chinese prisoners for testing purposes. It is believed that over 1.5 million Chinese prisoners are ideal for sources of organ harvesting and the writers of the reports are calling these companies named to answer the allegations or for state offices to “investigate international criminal activity”. Global pressure has been applied to China in protest of murders of prisoners of conscience used in the organ transplant industry, making over 1 billion dollars annually.

People have been stepping in light of the exposure on these crimes. Susie Hughes, the Executive Director of International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China, said: “These companies are in a very powerful position because China’s transplant industry would falter without them. It is imperative they withdraw from China immediately to help save innocent people who are being killed for their organs.” Hamid Sabi, Counsel to the China Tribunal, has recently raised the issue of China’s crimes of organ harvesting at the United Nations. He stated, “I welcome all new research confirming this horrifying issue. Organ transplantation to save life is a scientific and social triumph but killing the donor is criminal.”

It has claims of China’s forced organ harvesting as ‘one of the crimes of communism’ and goes into details how, ‘knowingly or unknowingly, companies or doctors (individuals) from democratic countries outside of China are participating in these unlawful acts’. Delving into more information about the supply and demand of China’s illegal harvesting of organs, the drive for demand generated ‘not only through Chinese citizens, but also transplant tourists from democratic countries’ and also, ‘these tourists are not completely disconnected from the western doctors, medical agencies, and other means, to which they turn to, mainly due to the lengthy waiting times for organ transplant in the West’.

The report also shows how China’s organ harvesting crimes goes through a process using online order forms with information on companies who supply equipment to China and their stock market data. International human rights lawyer, David Matas and expert witness who testified at China Tribunal, said: “The report sets out compelling evidence that several multinational companies are complicit in transplant abuse in China where prisoners of conscience are killed for their organs. This complicity violates the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The national contact points responsible for the Guidelines should be engaged in each of the countries where these countries are headquartered to address this complicity.”

Due to long-standing accusations of mass scale-forced organ harvesting of Chinese prisoners of conscience, China Tribunal launched the the first ever world’s independent legal analysis, called the “Final Judgment,” on June 17, 2019. After looking over and reviewing along with assessment over a 12-month period, the Tribunal came to the conclusion that ‘Commission of Crimes Against Humanity against the Falun Gong and Uyghurs has been proved beyond reasonable doubt.’ The Tribunal also stated that China should be listed as a ‘criminal state’; China Tribunal called for governments and international bodies to help stop the mass genocide in China. “The Economics of Organ Harvesting In China report was written by experts, Pavel Porubiak, senior analyst at IRCC (Institute to Research the Crimes of Communism) and Lukas Kudlacek, an analytical researcher on security, geopolitics, and economy.
